Welcome to Volume 1: Best Throws for Self Defence - Stay on your feet

This course includes simple strategies and basic throw principles to improve your control of confrontations.  Combining self defence striking principles and judo, we aim to give you a highly effective transistion game, moving from stand up fighting, through clinch, and into major throws.

Once in control we show you the most effective throws to keep you 'standing while they're landing'.

Its a huge area to cover, and down the line we will bring you other takedown options, finishes and submissions, but for this phase the emphasis is very much on not going to ground with your opponent.  'Get in, get it done, and get away.'

I think this course would be really useful for a lot of people, it's billed as basics but it offers up a great framework to work lots of variations from etc. If you have ever had trouble getting attachments off someone hitting you or from your own striking to set up your throws, this is the coarse for you. Presentation style is nice and relaxed and to the point. The main points are highlighted clearly and in a logical manner. I got lots of great skills to work on and will recommending it to my training partners.
